Schools Attuned
The Schools Attuned®
Program from All
Kinds of Minds® is a five-day 35-hour course that prepares educators
to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
in the classroom. This groundbreaking professional
development and service
delivery program for K-12 educators can help teachers
understand, identify,
and address differences in learning to help all students
achieve success in
the classroom and in life.
Recognizing that teachers, administrators and related service professionals
are
in the best position to observe and manage differences
in learning, the Program
helps them understand how the brain is “wired,” various
ways that students learn, patterns of students' differences in learning
and how students' passions and strengths can be used to overcome weaknesses
within the regular classroom.
This year long program includes 10 hours of practicum after completion
of the core course. This equips teachers to make the best instructional
decisions to ensure that each student can find academic and social success.
When implemented within schools, this program enriches the way all children
are educated.
The Children's Health Council (CHC) is proud to be a Professional Development
Provider for the All Kinds of Minds Institute delivering the Schools
Attuned Program throughout Northern California. Workshops are conducted
at The Children's Health Council or can be delivered to individual schools
and organizations by special request. Educators, nationally prepared
by All Kinds of Minds, facilitate this program.
