CHC is committed to training current and future professionals who work with children. With three active training programs, thousands of professionals throughout the country and internationally have benefited from this commitment to excellence.

Continuing Education Conferences for Community Professionals

Most conferences held at the Children's Health Council meet qualifications for continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and for Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists (MCEP).
We are in process of obtaining accreditation to provide CME credits for physicians.

Children's Health Council provides continued education credit for LCSWs, MFTs, SLPs and Psychologists as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists (MCEP) and Speech-Language Pathology of Audiology Board. We are in process of obtaining accreditation to provide CME credits for physicians.

Schools Attuned

The Schools Attuned® Program from All Kinds of Minds® is a five-day 35-hour course that prepares educators to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in the classroom. This groundbreaking professional development and service delivery program for K-12 educators can help teachers understand, identify, and address differences in learning to help all students achieve success in the classroom and in life.

All Kinds of Minds® program that translates the latest research from neuroscience and other disciplines on how children learn — and vary in their learning — into a powerful framework that educators can use in the classroom.

The professional development courses offer not only breakthrough ideas but practical solutions for educators to unlock the potential of all children who learn differently.

Professional Training Programs

CHC serves as a training site for:
- Child Psychiatry fellows from Stanford Medical School's Department
of Psychiatry
- Pre-doctoral psychology interns (a joint program with Stanford University)
- Post-doctoral psychology fellows (CHC is an accredited program)
- Speech and Language Clinical Fellows
