Professional Experience
Karen serves as director of the Educational Services Division, providing leadership for the Parent Education Program and the Schools Attuned Training program. She has twenty years of experience at the Children’s Health Council, having worked as Learning Disabilities Department Head, Parent Education Director, School Age/Adolescent Diagnostic Team Leader and Schools Attuned site director.
Before coming to CHC, Karen spent 18 years as a public school special education teacher and California Mentor Teacher. She also has been a Visiting Instructor at Santa Clara University and San Jose State University.
