Professional Experience

Carlos is a trilingual (English, Spanish, and Japanese) staff psychologist at CHC. He provides individual and family psychotherapy to children with medical treatment adherence/adjustment problems, conduct/behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, academic difficulties, and general family issues.

He completed Predoctoral Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. His work has included consultation and liaison services to medical teams of various subspecialties throughout a pediatric hospital and emergency consultations (including after-hours) for high-risk patients (suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, or psychosis).
