Professional Experience
Kianna joined CHC as a Staff Occupational Therapist.
She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with sensory integration dysfunction, feeding difficulties and autism. She has experience in using the SOS feeding approach, Handwriting without Tears, the Alert Program and DIR/Floortime.
Before joining CHC, she worked for over five years at Mt. Diablo Unified School District where she had the opportunity to work with families and children of all ages and abilities. She worked with the preschool assessment team for the last three years where she worked with a team of speech therapists and psychologists. She was also the OT/PT clinical coordinator and helped to manage the OT/PT therapy department for the last two and a half years.
