Children’s Health Council (CHC), a leader in providing comprehensive support for the mental and emotional well–being of children, teens, and young adults, is proud to announce a partnership with Brightlife Kids and Soluna—digital platforms that offer coaching support, mental health resources, and care navigation services for free to California residents, regardless of insurance coverage.
Through this partnership, CHC will serve as a trusted provider within the platforms’ affiliate networks, offering mental health treatment to clients referred by Brightlife Kids and Soluna and ensuring greater access to specialized care.
CHC is honored to participate and is thankful for the support of the California Department of Health Care Services in partnering with Brightlife Kids and Soluna to prioritize the well-being of youth through improved access to mental health services.
Elevating Support for Mental Health
Children’s Health Council has been a trusted source of mental health support for over 70 years. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people today, CHC has made significant strides in providing resources for parents, educators, and healthcare providers to address families’ mental health needs.
At CHC, our mission has always been to ensure that children, teens, and young adults, regardless of background or circumstance, have access to the care they need to thrive. By partnering with Brightlife Kids and Soluna, we are able to reach more people, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a healthier future for children and their families.
By teaming up with Brightlife Kids and Soluna, CHC is poised to increase the reach of its services, expanding the availability of therapy through telehealth for children, teens, and young adults who may not otherwise be able to access the type of specialist best suited to address their mental health challenges.
Ramsey Khasho, PsyD, Chief Clinical Officer for CHC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration:
“At CHC, our mission has always been to ensure that children, teens, and young adults, regardless of background or circumstance, have access to the care they need to thrive. By partnering with Brightlife Kids and Soluna, we are able to reach more people, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a healthier future for children and their families.”
Broadening Access for Underserved Communities
One of the primary goals of the partnership is to remove barriers to care, particularly for historically under-resourced populations. CHC is committed to closing these gaps in mental health care access. Through regional Medi-Cal programs and financial assistance, CHC can serve clients regardless of their ability to pay.
CHC offers a wide array of mental health and learning support services. This comprehensive approach to care ensures that clients who are referred to CHC through Brightlife Kids and Soluna can consider CHC a mental health home for services that they may need in the future as their mental health needs evolve.
