Anti-racism is a term that’s been around for awhile but has been appearing more in conversations lately. It’s the idea that people of all races, but especially white people, need to step up when they see explicit or structural racism. So, what are you doing in your schools or communities to combat racism? Or what do you want to do?

What Does it Mean to be Anti-Racist?

Discussion prompts provided by Above the Noise videos give students a structured way to engage in critical discussion on a range of topics – from vaping to video games, online privacy to climate change. We’ve even included the Common Core-aligned lesson plans and rubrics to get you started.

KQED Learn is a free platform for middle and high school students to tackle big issues and build their media literacy and critical thinking skills in a supportive environment.

CHC offers free community education sessions for educators. Join us to learn practical teaching strategies you can use in your classroom to help more kids reach their promise and potential. Educator sessions are led by experienced educator/clinician teams from Sand Hill School and CHC.
